Sverre Sandnes Sæbø is double bass player, composer and bandleader from Trondheim, Norway. He dedicates most of his artistic activities to different forms of jazz and improvised music with a love for exploring new expressions. His bass playing expresses flexibility, flow and a search for instinctive musical development. Trough his creativity and interactive musicianship he is easily recognizable in any project with his characteristic sound and long hair.
After finishing his bachelor degree in jazz performance at the Grieg academy, University of Bergen in 2023 he has been based in Bergen, where he has become a central figure in the city's music scene. Being part of bands like Avian Art, Aksel Røed's other aspects and more, he also released the debut album of his own Sverre Sæbø Quintet called "If, however, you have not lost your self control" this spring (2025). The album was received by great reviews and followed by a tour around Norway with concerts at Kongsbergjazz and Soddjazz to name a few.

A Northern Code
A Northern Code is a collaboration between three young and curious musicians from Norway and Scotland. We’re proud to present their debut album which is a journey through both the melodic jazz tradition and the texturized improvised music. The Northern Code is Mathias Marstrander (Norway b. 1993), Andrew Robb (Scotland b. 1990) and Sigurd Steinkopf (Norway b. 1997). They first met at the Grieg Academy in Bergen. The band started out as Andrew’s master project, but the trio swiftly established them as a collective ensemble. They quickly found a way to push their musical boundaries by developing their improvising concepts together

Harlequins Enigma is mostly a one-man-band, but Elin Berge, Katie Leung, and Sara Jensen has served as co-members in the past with several album appearances over the years.
