Julie Slick
Julie Slick began playing bass at eleven years of age. In 1998, at age twelve, she joined the Paul Green School of Rock Music, and soon became the school’s first All-Star bassist. This led to an appearance in the award winning documentary, Rock School, as well as a role in several tracks on the movie’s soundtrack. Mikko Pellinen

Mikko Pellinen is part of the new generation of jazz in Finland. He started his music studies with electric bass at age of ten. Soon after he became more and more interested in writing music and began to study composing. After high school he continued his studies in the pop & jazz department of Helsinki Polytechnic school Stadia, graduating in 2008. At the time he is doing his Master's degree at the Sibelius-Academy Jazz Music Department, majoring in jazz composition. His composing teachers include Kari "Sonny" Heinilä and Jere Laukkanen among others. He has studied electric and double bass with for example Hannu Rantanen, Ari-Pekka Anttila, Ulf Krokfors and Ville Herrala. As a composer his main focus is on his own group Mikko Pellinen Mini Big Band

Yunior Terry
Born in Camaguey, Cuba, bassist, violinist, and composer Yunior Terry is part of one of Cuba's most gifted musical families. Following his father and two older brothers Yosvany and Yoel, he began his musical training at the age of seven. He grew up surrounded by the music of Afro-Cuban religious traditions and learned to play the chekeré from his father Don Pancho, the undisputed master of the instrument. Yunior graduated from the prestigious National School of Art (ENA) with a double major in bass and violin. While in Cuba, he played violin with the Cuban National Symphony and bass with folkloric and Latin jazz groups.
