Tom Berkmann is a German musician who has been living in New York since 2012. He grew up in a small village in the beautiful Bavarian Alps, in the middle of Nowhere, a place so boring and quiet that the cows’ mooing and the churchbells were the only musical excitement in his early childhood. When he first heard his older sisters’ record collection – groups like Jimi Hendrix, The Red Hot Chili Peppers and Nirvana – Tom’s life had changed. He started growing his hair and picked up the guitar, started playing along with records and experimenting with sound and effects. Soon Tom got into Jazz Music and after playing jazz guitar for a while, he eventually found his true love as a young teenager: The Contrabass. Still being in high school Tom started studying Jazz Bass at the Richard-Strauss- Conservatory in Munich with Paulo Cardoso

Wayne Dockery

Born: June 26, 1941

Wayne Dockery (born in Camden, New Jersey) is a jazz double bassist who has worked with George Benson, Sonny Fortune, Eddie Henderson, Hal Galper, Archie Shepp, and others. He has been on albums since at least 1971, but never as a lead.

Kitt Lyles – Bassist, Composer, Arranger, Educator & Bandleader A graduate of Northwestern University (BM Jazz Studies, 2013), Kitt Lyles is an active performer, composer and educator in the Chicago jazz community. His performing career has brought him to play renowned jazz clubs around North America, Latin America and Asia, as well as major festivals such as the Chicago Jazz Festival (Chicago, IL), Festival Espontáneo (Chiapas, MX) and the Billy Strayhorn Jazz Festival (Chicago, IL). In 2015, Lyles released his debut album, “Real Talk”, featuring all original compositions; “it’s success rests as much on his skills as a writer as his serving as a beacon for the sextet's able rhythm section…his colourful themes… are by and large bright and engaging” (Jack Bowers, All About Jazz)

Yasser Morejon Pino

Yasser Morejon Pino (Havana- 1976) is recognized as one of the most talented musicians in the business, from his residential Copenhagen he collaborates with many different projects such as: Grupo Danson, Afrocuban All Stars, the fusion Band The End, among other musical projects. His versatility allows him to be actively involved with different genres that includes jazz, latin-american folk, flamenco, afro jazz & pop music. Currently he is immerse in his own project The Latin Syndicate Band which have had an official debut in the Jazz club Montmartre in Copenhagen on June 1st 2013. Was born in Havana in 1976

Luke Sellick

Luke Sellick was born and raised in the rich and eclectic musical climate of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Although originally a classical pianist, Luke discovered jazz at a young age and at eleven found himself immersed in the double bass. Home schooled throughout elementary and high school, his passions included art history, wilderness canoeing, and math. His introduction to formal education didn’t come until 2008, when he enrolled in the Faculty of Music at the University of Manitoba. By this time, although dreams of National Hockey League stardom were fading fast, Luke’s musical career was gaining momentum

Adi Meyerson

Born: January 26, 1991

Adi Meyerson is an Israeli bassist, composer, producer, and educator based in New York City. Since moving to the U.S. in 2012, she has quickly established herself as a compelling and dynamic voice in the New York music scene.

Meyerson has performed and toured internationally as both a bandleader and sideman, collaborating across genres with a wide range of artists including Charli Persip, Bria Skonberg, Matana Roberts, Joshua Bassett, Armand Hammer, and many others. Her versatility has brought her to renowned clubs, festivals, and stages around the world.

As a bandleader, Meyerson has released two critically acclaimed albums and is currently recording her third, featuring her Jazz quartet project, Dark Matter. Her work has been supported by numerous awards and fellowships, including the NYFA Women's Grant (2020), a Next Jazz Legacy nomination (2022), the UARK RefleXions Performance & Residency (2022), the Uncharted Creative Residency Fund (2022), and the Chamber Music America Performance Plus Grant (2024).
