NUNUN is a duo featuring Cesare Discepoli (guitar, synth) and Massimo Discepoli (drums, electronics), that play music featuring improvisation and electronics side by side with traditional instruments (guitar, drums). The duo's music is open to every kind of stylistical contamination and influence, from ambient to jazz, from modern electronic to avantgarde Cesare Discepoli : Cesare Discepoli starts the ZX81 project in 2000 with the "0" CD-R, featuring ambient-noise-isolazionist music mainly recorded with electric guitar. In 2006 he produce his first official CD "ZX81" (Rustblade) a crossover between ambient sounds and industrial rhythms; he's featured in the Schlagstrom! compilation "krrrbrrrtztzrrrr 01" and in 2008 are released 2 special tape editions from the series -ThruAnalog- "Astellarnoise" e "Futuristchicken"

Ok Ok Ok

Having recently returned from performing in Berlin and New York, OK OK OK is a Melbourne-based collaborative project formed in 2007 consisting of composers/musicians Sophia Exiner (piano/toy piano), Joshua Teicher (electric guitar/effects) and Josh Holt (double bass).

On their new release “Searching, Finding’ (2010) the trio capture the broad brushstrokes of a film score together with lashings of playfulness, humour, art and improvisation. Exiner's blend of traditional jazz elements and contemporary extended technique combine with Teicher's electronic soundscapes and rock- based guitar playing and Holt's rich, warm presence, making for an intoxicating mix.

Heads South

Heads South began as a one-off, a group of talented jazz musicians with a love for music from “Las Tierras Latinas” getting together for a single concert. It went so well that the guys really wanted to repeat it and the Band was formed. Heads South has a five piece line-up which is led by pianist composer John Harriman and features top UK jazz trumpeter Steve Waterman, Cuban percussionist Chino Martell Morgan, drummer Buster Birch and New Zealander Tim Robertson on bass. Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings

Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings have come a long way since their humble beginnings nearly a decade ago. Steeped within the gilded and gritty sounds of gospel, soul and funk, this nine-piece Brooklyn collective has continued to electrify fans, disc jockeys, critics, record collectors, and bloggers the world-over with their authentic, heart-felt sound. The authenticity clearly demonstrated on the band’s three critically-acclaimed albums “Dap Dippin’” (2002) “Naturally” (2005) and “100 Days, 100 Nights” (2007) captured and released by the independent Daptone Records. Their albums recall an analog era led by iconic studios like those at Motown and Stax Records, and have thrust the fifty-three-year-old Augusta, GA native and crew into the multimedia limelight. Rumba Club

This 28 year old East Coast ensemble "has joined the pantheon of great latin jazz groups" says the 52nd Street Review.
