Juke Joint Jazz

​​Juke Joint Jazz plays their own hard-driving and melodic arrangements of the classic jazz repertoire. Featuring several accomplished soloists with influences ranging from Miles Davis to the Grateful Dead, from Monk to Funk, the band playsan eclectic mix of works from an international cast of composers. The Joint is based in Western Massachusetts, and plays regularly in jazz clubs, art centers and concert venues in New England. They recently opened Northampton Jazz Fest Week at Northampton's famed Iron Horse Music Hall, and will do so again September 11, 2015. The group consists of Ken Forfia-Piano, David Kisala-Alto Sax, Steve Bulmer-bass, Clark Seibold-Drums, Ed Brainerd-Trumpet and Michael Levine-Guitar

Haken

Haken was formed in 2007 by To-Mera guitarist and keyboardist Richard Henshall and his two school friends Ross Jennings (vocals) and Matthew Marshall (guitar). The band completed their lineup with a keyboardist they met on an online forum, Peter Jones, Jones' close friend and drummer Raymond Hearne, and To-Mera guitarist Thomas MacLean became the band's bassist. Henshall mentioned on some occasions that "Haken" was the name of a fictional character he and some friends came up with in their school days, under the influence of alcohol or weed. They recorded a demo in 2007 that contained two tracks, "Snow" and "Souls"

The ladies who make up Cocomama hail from France, Argentina, Israel, Mexico, the U.S., and Cuba, and their repertoire is just as far-reaching. They can switch smoothly from Cuban Salsa to Argentinian tango to Brazilian samba to songs from the countryside of France set to Afro-Cuban beats, all the while tinging them with their sense of jazz. Among the members of Cocomama, congera Mayra Casales tours with The Ojays, vocalist Ariacne Trujillo was nominated for a Grammy Award, bassist Jennifer Vincent appeared with the Jazz at Lincoln Center All-Stars in the hit Broadway musical revue After Midnight, vocalists Christelle Durandy and Sofia Tosello have been touring the globe with their own projects... Based in Ypsilanti Mi and formed in 2011, as a community band, members have come from diverse locations around southeast Michigan. During the day, the musicians have other occupations such as educators, engineers, doctors, information technology, and medical research, but their hearts lie with jazz and the big band era. They can be heard sharing their love of music with the community with charities, senior living centers and other civic events. Until the untimely closure, the band enjoyed a 7-year residency as the monthly house band of the history Haab's Restaurant.

DTBB is a traditional 19-piece Big Band featuring hits from the Great American Songbook and charts from the 1930s through current day

No-Man

no-man is a British duo formed in 1987 by Tim Bowness and Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree). The name no-man was adopted in 1990 and first used on the self-released June 1990 single release, Colours. Originally creating a sample-based proto-trip hop / ambient styled music, no-man’s sound has become more organic, eclectic and band-oriented in subsequent years. On labels such as One Little Indian, Sony, Adasam and Kscope, the band has so far produced six studio albums and a number of singles / outtakes collections, most notably, 2006's career retrospective, All The Blue Changes. no-man's most recent studio album, Schoolyard Ghosts, was released in May 2008 and received some of the most favourable reviews of the band's career (being described as "truly sublime" by Classic Rock magazine). Mixtaped - a double DVD package including a film of the band's sell-out London performance in 2008, a career profiling documentary and assorted promotional videos - was released in October 2009.
