Antonello Losacco
Antonello Losacco's first musical approach was when he started his studies of classical guitar, then he devoted himself to electric bass, then to the double bass and finally to the piano. Over the years he matured many experiences, juggling between several different musical styles ranging from alternative rock, funk, pop and R'n'B to more experimental expressions and especially jazz. Appreciated and requested as a bassist and double bass player, he pays great attention to sound care, to the creation of lines and to improvisational expression.
Antonello also stands out for his compositional and solo skills. His technical research, timbre and harmonics, on the 6 and 7 strings basses, led him to be a co-designer and endorser of his instruments and of some production lines of the M° P. Lodato’s Chitarre Lodato. Active also on the field of public education in 2017, the manual "Smartjazz" published by Fo(u)r editions.
