Anthony Muthurajah
Anthony Muthurajah is a Bahrain born Sri Lankan musician specializing in the bass guitar. Music was an integral part of his life unknown to him. At age 12, he joined the local church band as the drummer and that's where it all began. He was nurtured and mentored to eventually pick up the guitar and a little bit of bass guitar. At age 17, he moved to Chennai, India for a year and was an active part of the gospel scene.
In 2010 July, he moved to Kuala Lumpur to pursue his music education at the International College of Music, a Berklee International Network partner school. While in college, a change of heart made him switch to the bass guitar as his primary instrument from the guitar. From the summer of 2011, he became highly active as a session bass player, both live and in the studio. While in Malaysia, he worked with Ning Baizura, Michael Veerapen, Jayesslee, Melissa Indot, Mokhtar Samba African Jazz Project, Patrick Terbrack, Valtinhio Anastacio, John Thomas, Lewis Pragasam to name a few artists.
