Musician

Andy Guthrie

Andy Guthrie is a composer, singer, pianist, and guitarist living and working in New York City. He was born on an Apache Indian reservation in Arizona, raised in Pittsburgh, and previously lived and worked in Santa Fe and New Orleans. Andy Guthrie has recorded and produced three albums of original songs: least common denominator (1999), 1616 Burdette (2001) and Milk and Waste (2005). An unheard of mix of British pop, folk and jazz, Andy Guthrie’s music is at the same time passionate and controlled, sincere and sophisticated, vibrant and cynical. Andy Guthrie plays regularly in New York City and has played in Boston, Los Angeles, Santa Fe, New Orleans, and recently made his debut in Lyon, France
