Musician

Jack Scott

Born:

I play jazz on the flute and alto flute...standards, latin, straight ahead. I most commonly work as a duet with guitar or piano, but can easily add bass and drums for a trio or quartet. As a rule I don’t use larger groups, but any size group can be arranged. In 1999 my trio was selected by Starbucks Coffee’s ad agency to perform as the Milder Dimensions Trio to promote their Milder Dimensions brands of coffee at various Chicago area events. My music tends to work best at events such as corporate receptions or dinners, trade shows, holiday parties, award ceremonies, weddings, etc

All About Jazz & Jazz Near You were built to promote jazz music: both recorded albums and live events. We rely primarily on venues, festivals and musicians to promote their events through our platform. With club closures, limited reopenings and an uncertain future, we've pivoted our platform to collect, promote and broadcast livestream concerts to support our jazz musician friends. This is a significant but neccesary step that will help musicians and venues now, and in the future. You can help offset the cost of this essential undertaking by making a donation today. In return, we'll deliver an ad-free experience (which includes hiding the sticky footer ad). Thank you!
