Alain Van Zeveren

Born: December 31, 1963

Born in Ghent in 1963. Studied at the Royal Music Academy and Conservatory in Ghent. Focusses on Jazz (piano/composition) for several years, played with Dave Pike, Lionel Hampton, Marjory Barnes, BRT television-orchestra ,Toots Thielemans ... Wrote 2 songs for Toots : « Flow » (Jazz-waltz) and « Amoroso » (Brasilian Jazz ballad). 1988-’90 : Teaches Jazz piano and arranging at the Jazz academy of Overijse-Brussels. Co-founded and was a member of the Rock-Pop group « The Radios », who were very succesfull in and abroad Belgium. They received 4 times GOLD and 3 times PLATINUM records for sales of their four full cd’s
