Dear AAJer,

We have some exciting news to share about an upgrade to our Press Release Posting & Distribution service. We're talking significant improvements that have already delivered profound results.

Please read on for the highlights and as always, thank you for valuing our service.

Lead photo insertion

Over the years, All About Jazz has added a lead photo to announcements on behalf of our customers. I'm sure you've noticed once or twice that the appearance of your announcement greatly improves upon publication. :-) That's just us making sure your announcements look their absolute best. Now you have the option to embed a lead photo yourself and include photographer credit.

WYSIWYG Sure, we're over a decade late, :-) but better late than never! Seriously, the main text box includes a WYSIWYG editor. A time-saving convenience for italicizing album titles, inserting subheaders and hotlinking text.

Album information

We hope the change to make musician instruments optional will help some who have struggled with adding personnel to the album information section associated with a "Recording" announcement. Adding instruments is important, so we ask that you make your best effort to add them. Speaking of albums, the album cover art on the news announcement page now links to the corresponding album page.

Hello, Page 1!

We completely restructured All About Jazz & Jazz Near You's data and pages, with an eye on search engine optimization improvements. We're thrilled to report results are nothing short of remarkable. Jazz Near You traffic has increased by 150% in the last two months, and more importantly, our news announcement pages are now landing on a page 1 / position 1 Google search. And we all know the importance of page 1 placement.
