With a distinct blend of rock, jazz, blues, and Chamber music; jazz trio "Outside Pedestrian" successfully captures the spirit of one of Jazz music's descendants: Fusion. The southern California based trio delivers music that encompasses styles that reflect diverse influences from down and dirty blues with hot guitar licks and slick Hammond-B3 organ grooves, to interesting hard rock and jazz rhythms.
The trio consists of guitarist Anthony Fesmire, bassist David Lockeretz, and David Kontesz on drums. Having played together since the early 90's they exhibit energy and extensive knowledge of today's music. Fesmire's prominent guitar work is to be commended not only for his rapid fire guitar antics, but also for his skill and depth. With eclectic selections that range from cool jazz, to funk rock, the rhythm section is up to the challenge with tight percussion and solid bass work. Selections are fused with a myriad of musical elements that will entertain and challenge progressive listeners.
