Dan Moretti and Once Through: Stories
For Moretti’s part his playing comes from a controlled Coltrane tradition, taking off on flights of fancy and probing note searches, but it's still within the confines of "sensible" jazz performance. The recording is sensible in that it is not an educational outing or a saxophone seminar. It is intended (oddly enough these days) for pure and simple enjoyment.
