Alwan is proud to announce its upcoming festival, Women's Visions: A Festival Across Genres and Traditions, which explores the woman's voice in the realms of cinema and song across various Middle Eastern cultures.
The festival runs from December 11th to December 19th and is comprised of three concerts, featuring artists Salma Marjieh from Palestine (Dec 11th), May Nasr from Lebanon with Lourdes Prez from Puerto Rico (Dec 17th), and Negar Booban from Iran, (Dec 19th), and a film by Egypt's Kamla Abou Zekry (Dec 15th).
