Chambers has recorded as a sideman, a drummer/percussionist/vibraphonist, and a leader on more than 500 albums and CDs, and has performed with Miles Davis, Freddie Hubbard, Dizzy Gillispie, and others, Joe is scheduled to talk about his recent teaching projects, including a residency at University of Southern California, and Rutgers University, as well as talk about “The Moving Pictures" his latest recording which was nominated for a Grammy.
On November 20-22, 2013, Chambers is scheduled to begin a residency at North Carolina Central University (NCCU). He will be featured in concert November 22, 2013, with the award-winning NCCU Jazz Ensembles, and will conduct master classes.
