A lot has happened since we last heard from Brenden Mulligan. On a personal level, je got married (congrats!), honeymooned, and traveled around the country speaking at 5 music conferences from LA to Seattle to NYC. But his baby ArtistData, which allows artists to input their info once and spread it across the net, reached a few milestones as well:
- 15,000 Artists - The site crossed the 15,000 artist mark a few weeks ago.
- Almost 2 Million Updates - Closing in on 2 million updates to our network on behalf of our artists.
- Chicago Innovation Award - ArtistData was awarded a finalist spot in the Chicago Innovation Awards People's Choice Award category. The got beat out by Abbott Laboratories but the community of artists showed their support.
- ArtistData Team Expanding - Brenden says he's close to announcing the addition of a head of engineering and a head of user experience.
- New Partner Sites - SongKick, FanBridge, ARTISTdirect, BlueHaze, and Findevent have joined as new syndication partners.
- Artist Consulting - Last week Brenden launched a digital marketing strategy consulting service aimed at helping musicians better leverage the online space.
