Roman Miroshnichenko on tour with the Godfather of Fusion

In May 2011, The Super Guitar Duo of Larry Coryell and Roman Miroshnichenko will perform at one of the biggest guitar festivals in Europe—The World Of Guitar—founded in the small Russian city of Kaluga. During the years, «The World of Guitar» has presented admirers with the greatest names of classical and modern guitar music. This time on the festival's stage will play the duo of the two virtuosos: Larry Coryell who is a famous jazz-rock fusion pioneer and Roman Miroshnichenko who is is one of the most prominent guitarists in Russia and ex-USSR countries.

Larry Coryell (about one of Roman's latest releases):—"Temptation is an excellent piece of the type of modern flamenco music that John McLaughlin and I played with Paco de Lucia in the late seventies in Europe. Roman's more-than-impressive technique helps his lines soar above the complicated rhythms and sophisticated chords. It is a wondrous aspect modern guitar evolution!

Recently, Roman Miroshnichenko became The Independent Music Awards nominee for the 2nd year in a row. Last year he was nominated for and won both the regular and People's Choice popular vote judging.

Roman Miroshnichenko:—"It has been a great honor for me to have recorded last month a joint single and to soon be playing together on the stage with such a Great musician! Larry is one of the legendary guitarists who has influenced all other guitarists, as well as my own playing!"
