Music Power Network Ramps up Online Music Business Learning and Toolkit

You've seen the Music Power Network ads on Hypebot for several weeks now, but just in case you haven't clicked through to check it out, its time to share a bit about what Dave Kusek, co-author of “The Future of Music" and VP at Berklee College of Music has built and how well it can serve d.i.y. musicians.

I'll be writing a comprehensive review of MPN in the coming days, but in broad strokes,  its an online music management service that provides the kind of education and tools needed to survive in new music industry landscape as an artist, producer or music business professional.

In addition to tools, lessons and templates, MPN members have access to exclusive music video interviews with  Phil Ramone, Nettwerk's Terry McBride, CD Baby founder Derek Sivers, Topspin's Ian Rogers, producer David Kershenbaum, artist Amber Rubarth and more than 30 others.

MPN takes people step-by-step through the process of getting organized, defining success, creating a marketing plan, finding resources and planning a career. Members then build custom business plans employing interactive templates on the MPN site.
