NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - Mason Gross School of the Arts announces the Fall 2004 Music at Kirkpatrick Chapel series. A series of free events, performances take place in the historic Kirkpatrick Chapel on the Old Queen's campus of Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey in New Brunswick.

Entering its fourth season, the series has featured a diverse array of performers including the Rutgers Glee Club, the Rutgers Salsa Band, Mason Gross String Trio, the Rutgers Brass Ensemble, New Hudson Saxophone Quartet, Mason Gross Dean George B. Stauffer on organ and a variety of other musical talents.

Organized by Artistic Director Antonius Bittmann, the university organist, the series began in the fall of 2001 as a way to reinvigorate the great musical tradition of David Drinkwater, the long-time university organist and overseer of musical events at Kirkpatrick Chapel.

Given the chapel's proximity to many of New Brunswick's businesses, it is an ideal location for patrons to walk a short distance to enjoy great musical performances on an array of Fridays while enjoying a brown-bag lunch. The evening concerts provide patrons with the opportunity to attend events similar to those at lunchtime.

For more information, call 732/932-7511 or visit www.masongross.rutgers.edu. No tickets or reservations are required for this FREE series.
