How to 'Splitgigs' with Other Bands and Musicians

SplitGigs is a social network whose aim is to help up-and-coming bands and musicians find gigs to play. Their core feature enables bands to connect with one another and exchange gig opportunities. If I contacted your band and we agreed to split a gig then you'd play at your show and you'd play at one of mine.

It's a simple and effective idea that allows groups to expand their show repertoire and reach audiences that they may not have otherwise been able to. Anyone can join. Artists are also capable of organizing tours through the site. The company seeks to cut the middlemen out of the equation of touring and empower bands to decide for themselves when, where and with whom they want to play with live.
