Google this week has issued a number of feature upgrades to its Translate service. The site now lets users translate text instantly, as they type, without having to hit the Translate button.
The application will also Romanize" text so users can read it phonetically in English. This new feature works for all of Google Translate's non-Roman languages, save for Hebrew, Arabic, and Persian.
Arabic, Persian, and Hindi, meanwhile, can now be typed as they sound and then converted to their native script by the service, for those users who can't type the languages on their keyboard. The new text-to-speech feature will read aloud when translating into English.
