The organizers of the 31st Festival International de Jazz de Montreal wish to inform festival fans that the An Evening with the Gipsy Kings concert that was originally going to be staged at the Bell Centre on Sunday, July 4, has been moved to Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier at Place des Arts, on the same date and still at 7:30 p.m.

Yes-it's their very first visit to the Festival! They've conquered the entire world and sold millions of albums in their career, and this summer, at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier, the Gipsy Kings will fire up Festival fans with the diabolical rhythms of their globally-beloved Andalusian classics-Bamboleo, Djobi Djoba and their other irresistibly uplifting hits! Now genuine superstars, the Gipsy Kings have oft been imitated, but remain the undisputed masters of their genre!

The tickets initially sold for the Bell Centre concert will be honoured for the concert at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier. Anyone who thinks they will be unable to make it to the Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier concert has up to June 7 to contact the Bell Centre.

Tickets for the Gipsy Kings concert at Place des Arts are already on sale. You can buy yours directly at Place des Arts (175 SainteCatherine Street West), by phone at 514 8422112 or 1 866 842-2112 or online at laplacedesarts.com.
