Boomerang: Comic Novel Features Jazz Musicians

Boomerang is a comic novel of international intrigue with two down on their luck jazz musicians as its inadvertent heroes. Ted Hogwood is a former NBA power forward who desperately needs to get his Gibson L5-CES guitar out of hock and Jerry Kwiatkowski, a disciple of Jimmy Smith, is just desperate for some rent money, not to mention his B-3 was stolen and he needs a replacement. They accept an assignment from a not-quite legitimate branch of United States Intelligence to retrieve a boomerang inside of which is hidden a secret that should have died with J. Edgar Hoover in 1973.

Here is what a couple of readers have had to say about Boomerang on Amazon and Smashwords.com:

From its great characters to its twisted plot, Boomerang is lots of fun. The humor and quirky characters are reminiscent of “The Big Lebowski" while the frenetic pacing brings to mind “It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World." A missing boomerang is sought by a couple of down-on-their-luck jazz musicians, an albino assassin, two little old Australian ladies, the C.I.A. and a sexy cheerleader, not to mention the surviving members of a secret agency set up long ago by J. Edgar Hoover.

One of the best novels that I have read in recent times- suspenseful, witty and racy. I look forward to more such writings from Mr. Hutcheson.

Boomerang is available in paperback from Amazon or personally autographed copies can be gotten directly from the author.

It is also available as an ebook from Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Apple, Smashwords, Sony and Kobo.
