Andy Polay Quintet at Beanrunner in Peekskill, NY on November 7th

On Saturday evening, Nov. 7 at 8:00PM, a stellar show will grace the stage of the Beanrunner in Peekskill, NY, 201 S. Division St.(914-737-1701... reservations recommended).

On that night, the Andy Polay Quintet will perform miles of Miles, Honks of Herbie, no shortage of Shorter, mounds of Monk, and more as the 'Trane steams for a few hours of hot, spicy jazz.

Rahn Burton will be on the keys (Stanley Turrentine, Rahsaan Roland Kirk, Mose Allison, Rashied Ali, Cecil Morgan, and countless credits including Buddy Guy and Jack Bruce.)

Christopher Brellochs will be on saxophones. He is a master of both classical and jazz and his credits include Birdland, Iridium, Smoke, Cecil's, and many European venue's.

John Castleman will be on the trumpet. John was a charter member of the Sam Rivers Orchestra both here and abroad. His credits also include Tito Puente' Jr., the Benny Goodman and Harry James Orchestra's, and Clarence Cleamons.

John Goldberg will be on bass. He has played the NY and CT area's leading his own band and as a member of the Papahawk Experience.

Andy Polay will be on drums. Besides his collaborations with Rahn Burton, he has played NY and the surrounding area with the likes of Bill Davis, Lonnie Leibowitz, Margaret Slovak, Jorge Sylvester, Nora McCarthy, and more.



The Beanrunner, nestled in upper Westchester has a warm atmosphere reminiscent of Soho and a menu that adds jerk chicken platters and finger foods to their soups salads, and sandwiches.
