Mirna Bogdanovic

Jazz singer/songwriter Mirna Bogdanović is finding ways to combine instrumental with vocal, as well as jazz with electronic and pop. After studying classical piano and jazz vocals in various music Colleges around Europe, she has gained a high level of musical knowledge, which she cleverly uses in her compositions and arrangements. Soon to debut as a recording artist, Bogdanović’s album in the making involves a subtle interlacement of classical vocal techniques and contemporary methods.

A native Slovenian/Bosnian that's now based in Berlin, Bogdanović is a Downbeat award winner, former member of the German national big band, scholar of The university of Arts in Berlin, and Ministry for culture in Slovenia. She is an active member of the Berlin jazz scene, has collaborated with many renowned jazz musicians in Germany and abroad, and has performed on international jazz festivals and radio recordings.
