Henrik Andersen
Henrik Andersen is one of the most renowned contemporary Danish musicians. His musical and professional career spans several international collaborations with a.o symphony orchestras, jazz bands, and Indian ensembles, enabling him to realize his inspiration to create "world music" that bridges jazz, pop, and Indian rhythms "Konnakol" in an original and overwhelming blend.
Henrik studied at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen and collaborated with numerous renowned musicians such as Trilok Gurtu (IN), Bickram Ghosh (IN), and Pete Lockett (UK) Gumbi Ortiz (USA) Jennifer Batten (USA)
Beyond music, he is active in the theater world as a musician, composer, actor, and storyteller. His fusion of styles and techniques makes him a true pioneer in modern rhythmic music.
Henrik has released 20 albums with his own music in various style and also books and video tutorials on how to learn Konnakol.
