I love jazz because it's all about rhythm and improvisation. Witch is also true for the 5000 years old south indian music tradition "Carnatic music" If you look at the modern man and humanity - adapting to the rhythm and improvising is actually nesecary to survive. To me music is a teacher - an elevating energy - a cosmic language. I have meet all my idols in music and it really strikes me that they are all very nice persons, cultivated and kind.

Henrik Andersen & The Jazz Rebels played a house concert in Seriate / Bergamo at AJP studio - November 21st. Personally I love to get as close to the audience as possible - and the other way around. Because in these times being real and close is more important than ever. To really feel the energy and presence of what we call music. A big organizer came to our concert and he was really exited by our performance - and I can recommend playing these small concerts because you can actually hook up with the audience after the gig. On most huge venues or theatres it can be hard to actually get in contact with the audience and the fans
