Gilad Ronen
Gilad Ronen is an Israeli based multi-woodwind virtuosic performing & recording artist. As a former member of the acid funk pop group "The Brand New Heavies” and as a past winner of the “Thelonious Monk” competition Gilad is truly a versatile musician. His abilities to double on various Flutes, Clarinets and eclectic style of playing that ranges from hardcore post-bop jazz to Funk and middle eastern put him in high demand. For the past 20 years he performed alongside numerous major pop acts in Israel. He records and performs regularly on Broadway musicals, Radio and T.V shows as well. To date Gilad has released 3 Albums as a leader. The Latests “Reflections” presents highly sophisticated yet very accessible and beautifully arranged music for a nine piece ensemble and a vocalist.
