Album Description

Moments is a five-part EP by Yosef Gutman Levitt and the synthesist Adi Goldstein, released under Levitt’s Every Day Miracle name. Goldstein’s Eurorack modular and analog synthesizers meet Levitt’s acoustic piccolo bass guitar and the clarinets and wooden flutes of his longtime collaborator Gilad Ronen. The two traded files between Goldstein’s studio in Tel Aviv and Levitt’s in Jerusalem through 2024.

“I discovered how challenging it is to create soundscapes with melody,” Levitt says. “Most ambient work intentionally avoids clear melodic lines, but melody felt essential; it’s where meaning lives.”
