David G Bailis

--DAVID BAILIS is a multi-talented musician best known for his skills as a guitarist and bassist. Equally accomplished as a composer, producer and educator, David has showcased his musical talents throughout the world, performing to sold out crowds at a range of venues from Carnegie Hall to Golden Gate Park.

In addition to touring as a guitarist for numerous artists, David was a longtime member of the renowned electro funk band Pimps of Joytime.
He is the former guitarist of Grammy-nominated singer/emcee and Fugees alum John Forte’s band and currently is the musical director and guitarist for Sierre Leone hiphop superstar Bajah & the Dry Eye Crew. David has been featured in a wide range of publications including Bass Player Magazine and the New York Times.

--In 2017, David launched the blog and podcast- Tourganic, which focuses on maintaining a healthy lifestyle on the road as a musician and a marathoner/Ironman athlete. David is based in Brooklyn, NY and when not on tour can be found performing and teaching in New York City.

--DB3 is the brainchild of NYC guitarist and bassist David Bailis, who after touring internationally with renowned artists for many years, started his own trio in 2017. What began as a residency sparked an exciting creative outlet for Bailis. His debut solo album release in 2018 on Infinity Gritty/Ropeadope caught the attention of tastemakers and the press alike and his track “Do You” was featured on Spotify’s premeire jazz playlist- The State of Jazz. He and his team are excited to be releasing a new song every month of 2023. David Bailis’s skilled guitar playing and diverse sonic background shine through in his live shows with influences ranging from jazz, world music to hiphop/R&B.
