Vocalist and multi-instrumentalist Claudia Campagnol is one of Denmark's young rising stars on the jazz scene – with a broad crossover appeal and a huge international potential.
Claudia has been playing and composing music since she was just 4 years old. Already as a child she was clearly focused on creating a musical career – and she has never looked back since.
Claudia Campagnol is a versatile and charismatic artist with an incredible voice and a unique, broad and very personal musical expression. Her sound is warm and soulful, but at the same time captivating dynamic and with a clear jazz reference, showcasing an impressive flair for improvisation and vocal arrangements.
Claudia has a deep rooted affection for jazz fusion, but she also takes a lot of inspiration from soul, pop and R&B. She has worked with international names such as Stevie Wonder, John Blackwell and Nils Landgren to name just a few. And i.a. Jimmy Haslip and Vinnie Colaiuta guest star on her debut album.
The critically acclaimed debut album “I’m Strong” (2019) shows a deeply personal music creator who, with unique groove and feeling, goes straight for the listener’s innermost soul. In 2019, the album was nominated for the Danish Music Awards Jazz in 2 categories: ‘Best New Act’ and ‘Best Vocal Album’. The album was released in Japan (July 2020).
Recently, Claudia has released the catchy single Dance With Me (July 2020), where she is flirting with a funky pop/R&B universe inspired by names like Chaka Khan and Sade.
