Four years to the day that Russia launched its brutal full-scale invasion of Ukraine, All About Jazz pays tribute to the resilience of all Ukrainians. Vadim Neselovskyi's "Refugees" from the album Perseverantia (Tzadik, 2026) is the pianist's poignant response to the war--a meditation on displacement, loss, struggle, but also the determination to seek beauty amid the chaos and uncertainty.
