Tal Wilkenfeld is best known online for a smokin’ bass solo with jazz-rock guitarist Jeff Beck that went viral – see this clip. She was 21 at the time. Wilkenfeld also was invited to sit in at a young age with Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, Prince and the Allman Brothers. Born in 1986, it’s been a while since she’s been described as a young prodigy, however she has rounded out her skills to include composing and singing. Check out her instrumental fusion showcase album Transformation, and Love Remains, her vocal debut album with alternative folk strains.
