About the Album

“What Have We Here” is a track off of saxophonist Jon Irabagon’s new CD, “Inaction Is An Action.” “Inaction is An Action” is Jon Irabagon's ninth album as a leader – and one that will surely challenge even the most discernible and experienced ear. Featuring Irabagon on solo sopranino saxophone, “Inaction is an Action” is an epic feat from all angles, expanding the language of solo saxophone as well as bringing a neglected instrument to the foreground. Irabagon simultaneously releases a more straight-ahead CD, “Behind the Sky” featuring legendary trumpeter Tom Harrell. Out September 15 on Irabbagast Records http://www.jonirabagon.com/
