About the Album

Originally recorded in 1937, "Toy Trumpet" soon soundtracked a famous Shirley Temple-Bill Robinson dance number in the 1938 comedy film, “Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm.” On this reimagined version, Jeremy Cohen and Grammy-nominated Classical Crossover specialists Quartet San Francisco partner with Grammy-winning artist Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band to create something truly magical, a jubilant musical excursion like no other. Features Wayne Bergeron on a real trumpet.
