For over five years, Spontaneous Groovin' Combustion has been a consistent presence on smooth jazz radio -- charting on SmoothJazz.com Top 20, RadioWave Top 30, and the Smooth Jazz Network Top 50 across multiple singles, earning placement on SiriusXM's Dave Koz Lounge, landing Music Choice rotation, and appearing on SmoothJazz.com's Top 100 Albums of the Year every year from 2020 through 2024.

Toast of the Town is SGC's most intentional release to date -- a collaboration with Nelson Braxton of The Braxton Brothers, whose production credits span Grammy-nominated and Grammy-winning projects, and whose own chart history includes a #1 on Billboard's smooth jazz chart and SiriusXM Watercolors placement.

The track is built around a melody that SGC bandleader Warren Keller refused to compromise. Soprano sax and lead bass carry a Marvin Gaye-inflected groove over warm Fender Rhodes, acoustic piano, lush strings, and soulful percussion. Comparable to Dave Koz, Brian Culbertson, and Boney James. Ideal for Jazz Hits, Smooth Hits, Chill Jazz, and New in Jazz.

Prior collaborators include guitarist Blake Aaron (co-writer of Name Dropper and Chicago Morning), Jeff Lorber, and Dwight Sills. Toast of the Town is a standalone single -- a statement release marking a new high-profile collaboration chapter in SGC's discography.
