About the Album

‘Nevando en Camagüey’, from our album ‘Caminos - a Latin American Landscape’, is an original song based on an inside joke between my aunts in Cuba. It is a captivating title, since it never snows in Camagüey. The lyrics speak about this beautiful city and region of Cuba. Yet there is a mystery in the legendary ‘tinajones’ of Camagüey! These large earthenware pots, a symbol of the city, are famous for collecting and storing rainwater. According to local folklore, drinking from them will lure you to fall in love with someone from Camagüey.

Tracks

De Tanto Quererte (Merenson); Dunas; Nevando en Camagüey; No Hagas Caso; Que Nadie Sepa Mi Sufrir; Voy a Apagar la Luz; Ahí Va la Comparsa (Mulata Chancletera); Milonga Paraguaya.
