About the Album
Strange Arrival is a moody and cinematic piece composed by Jon Dryden. It sets a solemn tone with hints of hope and foreboding. Anson Jones’ wordless vocal sounds the melody in harmony with Dryden’s piano, while bassist Chris Lightcap and drummer Dan Rieser offer musical support that rises and falls with the emotion of the music.
