About the Album
"Malina's own "Longing" opens with crescendo piano notes which are like a tiptoeing dancer. As the ensemble adds undulating collective vamps a wistful yearning permeates the tune. Poetic and soulful, Alvanović's elegant lines meander around Malina's reverberating thumps and Kovač's echoing thuds. Smoothly the group performance coalesces around Malina's agile improvisation." Hrayr Attarian/ALL ABOUT JAZZ "Just when you think that the world has enough piano trios to be getting on with, a new one comes along to stand proudly in the front row." Simon Adams/JAZZ JOURNAL
