About the Album
This is the opening cut from Fifth Element's first and self-titled album. Dave Coules arranged the tune which features vocalist, Nina Richmond, and solos by Dave on tenor saxophone, Dale Scaife on piano and Ron Johnston on bass. Glenn Anderson keeps the band swinging on drums. This is a fresh take on a 1926 standard composed by Jimmy McHugh with lyrics by Clarence Gaskill. The other eleven tunes on the album reveal Dave Coules' talent at arranging and provide effective vehicles to show the talents of all five musicians.
