About the Album
“Home Theme” by Nathan Koci "This song was born out of a silent film score project for the 1935 Medvedkin film “Happiness”. The title is purely functional, as I would play this theme whenever the protagonist (character name “The Loser”) would return to his home and farm. This version brings the inimitable Matt Darriau (The Klezmatics) to the fore with his windswept Kaval playing. Like the film, the tune is a little sad and a little happy, morose with moments of hapless absurdity."
