About the Album
If you’re seeking some artistic light during these dark times, one source of inspiration is the IZE Trio of pianist Chase Morrin, cellist Nazeem Alatrash, and percussionist George Lernis. Their second album “Global Prayer” continues their mission of combining deep, searching jazz and classical influences with a humanitarian perspective. Morrin’s profound composition “From the Stars” shows the meditative influence of Wayne Shorter, and includes Shorter’s longtime bassist, John Patitucci, as well as saxophonist Lihi Haruvi.
