About the Album
Plants That Grow At Night is a Vienna-based collective of musicians and producers who thrive on crossing boundaries. Their sound fuses Funk, Neo-Soul, Psychedelic Rock, Acid-Jazz and modern fusion, built on the energy of extended jam sessions later sculpted with overdubs and contributions from special guests. Their debut EP, Frogging The Cosmos – Act 1, gathers recordings made between 2022 and 2024, capturing the collective’s raw chemistry and evolution. With hip-hop, modern jazz, psychedelic and progressive rock influences woven into its fabric, Act 1 sets the stage for a vibrant journey that continues later this year with Act 2.
