About the Album
Devil May Care is probably the most famous song written by Bob Dorough, who recently passed away. I knew him and admired him not only as one hip cat, but as a beautiful person who always took the time out to support singers and musicians in the community. Our CD is dedicated to him. The conceit of our new CD "Eastern Standard Time" is that we are singing the songs you would have heard if your were in New York City in 1959 and happened to walk into a club where Blossom Dearie or Jackie and Roy or Bob Dorough was singing.
