About the Album
I wanted to write a jazz tune, words and music, that would fuse together some of the sounds I've heard singing in NYC clubs. It was great working with Daryl Kojak, a pianist and arranger, who has worked with many jazz and cabaret singers including a musical training program with Michael Feinstein, recordings with Phoebe Snow and others. It combines laid back and energetic rhythms. The story is about not wanting to cry over the wrong person but it has a twist ending.
