Il sontuoso progetto allestito dal pianista proietta anche la tromba di Marvin Stamm verso la più completa libertà espressiva, per dar luogo a magistrali interventi pregni di struggente lirismo. La suite che dà il titolo al CD dimostra per l'ennesima volta come iil jazz sia una musica di frontiera e di straneamenti continui.
Mays si dimostra ancora una volta un musicista altamente creativo, capace di far uscire l'estetica jazzistica dalle sue attuali gabbie dorate dell'hardboppismo imperante. Gli arrangiamenti proposti sono tutti finemente elaborati, con interventi solistici misurati ma efficaci. Soprattutto in "End Credits" e "Spain" si impongono gustosi impasti timbrici contrassegnati dalla perfetta interazione fra gli strumenti.
