There is something very, very Bitches Brew (Columbia Records, 1970) about Insomnia, an ear-catching mind-bending excursion through the virtuosity, imagination, and humanness of pianist/drummer/synthesist Richard Bliwas and elder empath, saxophonist and free jazz mentor, Daniel Carter.
