Nel periodo 1998-2002 Roberto Magris costituisce l'Europlane Orchestra, ensemble jazz a geometria variabile che coinvolge musicisti dei paesi centro europei con il patrocinio dell'INCE-CEI. Con questa formazione registra tre CD, l'ultimo di quali per la Soul Note è proprio Current Views. Successivamente l'orchestra cambia denominazione e si apre a musicisti d'oltreoceano come Herb Geller, ma le fondamenta di questi sviluppi si possono trovare senza ombra di dubbio proprio nelle registrazioni di quel quinquennio.
