Norwegian trumpeter/composer Hildegunn Oiseth has been a full time professional player since age 24, beginning with the Bohuslän Big Band. She has been featured in several projects with the Trondheim Jazzorkester, and can be heard hosting national radio shows. A name is sometimes able to conjure a whole world. In the case of Norwegian trumpeter Hildegunn Øiseth, the name of the Spanish city Valencia embodies a wealth of associations and feelings, which find their way into her music.
