New Perspective is a hot, young group that's deeply immersed in the funk. Altoist Chris Greene and friends conjure up phat grooves that guarantee good times and shaking of booty.

The opener, “Mister Congeniality", sets the pace for the whole disc with a relentless drum groove sliced up by Charles D. Bayne's bluesy keyboards and Kohki Ohno's spacious bass line.
